Emmy Kuperschmid (she/her) is an NYC-based actor, playwright, and theater artist on a mission to tell stories that make people feel less alone.

She has performed and developed work at The Public, the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, Pipeline Theatre Company, The Tank, Adirondack Theatre Festival, and Dixon Place, among others. Collaborations include performing Off-Broadway in Dave Malloy's BEARDO, originating the role of Claire in renowned feminist playwright Carolyn Gage's play STARPATTERN, starring in a sold out run of UNMARRIED MAN at the PIT, and working with Kerrigan & Lowdermilk playing Samantha Brown in THE MAD ONES LAB.

Emmy reads a book a week on average, credits Sailor Moon as her first feminist icon, and gives excellent pep talks.
